ACM Spring Programming Contest Saturday, April 1st

The ACM Spring Programming Contest is coming up soon! The programming contest will be held on Saturday, April 1st. Doors open at 9am and the contest will begin at 10am in the Love building.

For those of you who have not attended before, the Programming Contest is an event where students work solo or in teams to solve programming problems. The contest has an upper and lower division, so whether you’re a freshman or senior, there will be both easy and challenging problems.

There will be FREE PIZZA, prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and best team name, and some CS professors offer EXTRA CREDIT for participating, so make sure to ask your professor!

Also, we are in need of proctors and volunteers for the event. If you volunteer you are still eligible for extra credit and first dibs on free pizza. If you are interested, please email

Registration is required to participate in the contest and can be filled out on the contest website: Please register ASAP so we order enough pizza. Registration closes on Thursday, March 30th at 6pm, so sign up now before you forget! If you have any questions, please email (edited)
